Close to the Matsumoto Station (~8-10min walk). And it’s also very close by the Matsumoto Castle. Check-In is through a machine, where you have to scan your passport and fill out a form. Receptionist will help you if needed. For check-out I only had to insert the room key card back into the machine. Room and bathroom were clean. Breakfast is free and is from 6-9.30am. Free coffee is until 10am. Breakfast is Japanese style with rice, grilled mackerels, seaweed soup, salad, etc. But there were also butter croissants available. You can either eat in the lobby and take it as takeout with you to your room.

The location was great, walking distance to the castle, station, and Nawate shopping street. There is a JP post across the road, convenient because I needed to use the ATM. The room was convenient and comfortable with coat hangers, a mini fridge, desk, kettle with cups, and towels. The breakfast buffet was copious and delicious, with many options like tamagoyaki, bacon, croissants, pickles, rice, soup, coffee, tea, juice, fruit, and mochi.

The amenities provided were complete and well-maintained, contributing to a comfortable experience. Two convenience stores were close by (1min to Familymart and 3min to 7/11) Good room size - there was a little table and two chairs and if you move them to aside, there’s a space to open two big suitcases. Also enough space under the bed to keep the opened suitcases which was a bonus!
